John A. Tucker, 90, passed away peacefully Monday, July
12, 2010. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial
Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral
Home. John was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Love to John and Jenny
Tucker. He became a member of the U.S. Air Force and a chief
master sergeant and retired after serving 30 years. He loved
fishing and golf. He was a member of several organizations,
including Ridglea Lodge 1341, Scottish Rite, Moslah Shrine,
American Legion and VFW Post 8235. He is preceded in death
by his parents, John and Jenny; sisters, Addie Lee, Myrtle,
May and Verna; brothers, Wheeler, Ray, Milton, D.M. and
H.M.; sons, Larry and Gary; grandsons, Richard and Daniel.
Survivors: His loving wife of 63 years, Lucille; son, Johnny
Tucker and wife, Phyllis; four grandsons; two
granddaughters; one great-grandson; and one
great-granddaughter.
