Obituary:


John A. Tucker, 90, passed away peacefully Monday, July 12, 2010. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. John was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Love to John and Jenny Tucker. He became a member of the U.S. Air Force and a chief master sergeant and retired after serving 30 years. He loved fishing and golf. He was a member of several organizations, including Ridglea Lodge 1341, Scottish Rite, Moslah Shrine, American Legion and VFW Post 8235. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Jenny; sisters, Addie Lee, Myrtle, May and Verna; brothers, Wheeler, Ray, Milton, D.M. and H.M.; sons, Larry and Gary; grandsons, Richard and Daniel. Survivors: His loving wife of 63 years, Lucille; son, Johnny Tucker and wife, Phyllis; four grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.

Details Of Part 1:

We will have a few bikes escort the family from their home to the memorial service. We will then stand the flag line for the arrival of family & friends. Then move the flag line to the gravesite for the interment.

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.


- Safety First: With warmer weather, please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.


- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family.
