He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association, Arlington Branch 375. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of dedicated and faithful service, and served in the Army for four years prior to enlisting in the Navy. He served three tours in Vietnam as well as during the Cuban missile crisis. Once the service begins we will break down the flag line and move it to the gravesite and prepare to escort Mr. Vasquez to the site. Weather: Partly cloudy with a high of 99 degrees. With the hot weather being here please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also, please don’t forget your sun screen. The flag and water truck will be at the location. Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.
