Stanley Anton Liska, “Gran Stan” a life-long resident of Ellis County passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to Cecilia Nekuza Liska and Stanley Liska on November 17, 1936 in Boyce, Texas.
In July of 1956, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1956-1958.

Mission Summary:
|
We have been asked by the family of Stanley Liska to join
them in honoring their loved one as he is laid to rest. We
will do so by standing a flag line at the Church before the
Mass of Christian Burial, then join in the procession on his
last ride to the cemetery for the interment.

Details Of Part 1:
|
After setting up the flags and the mission brief has been
given, we will stand the flag line to receive the family and
friends of Mr. Liska. Once the service has begun, we will
retrieve and furl the flags, then secure them in the support
vehicle for transport to the cemetery. Honor bikes will be
chosen to accompany the procession, the remainder of the
riders will proceed with the support vehicle to the cemetery
to prepare for the arrival of Mr. Liska, family, and friends.
Safety brief will be given to those riding in the procession
after the Mass has begun.

church. At the conclusion of the graveside services, the
flags will be retrieved, furled, and returned to the support
vehicle. After the post mission brief, the riders will be
dismissed.

can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

Times are approximate for the interment portion of this
mission. The cemetery entrance is not clearly marked, and
the archway through the gate is off the highway a little
bit. Lat/longs should put you at the driveway.
