Two-part Mission: A small contingent of flag bikes will
escort the family from their home in Waxahachie to meet PFC
Ramirez upon his arrival at Mid-Way Regional Airport. All
other Riders will stand a flag line near the entrance to the

the remaining PGR members will fall in behind the flag bikes
as we escort the Ramirez family and friends to the funeral
home in Waxahachie.
In the evening of the following
day, the PGR will stand a flag line at the Waxahachie Civic
Center where PFC Ramirez will receive Military Honors and a
Funeral Mass. Private Ramirez will be interred in Mexico.

Due to the large numbers of supporters anticipated from the
City of Waxahachie and nearby communities, we will be
staging well in advance of the aircraft’s ETA (which,
itself, is always subject to last-minute changes). Your
cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated. As you
arrive at the entrance to Mid-Way Regional Airport, a Ride
Captain will direct the placement of your motor or cage. On
the airport road, a short distance north of US-287, we will
establish a flag line with our vehicles, lining both sides
of the road. We expect to be joined by citizens and will
place our machines accordingly. We will render honors as the
family arrives. After they’ve cleared the area, the flags
will be retrieved and we will stand by for the return
procession. We will join with that procession and proceed
approximately six miles to the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826
West Highway 287 Business, Waxahachie, where we will again
render appropriate honors as Private Ramirez is escorted
inside.

The early staging times are due to the expected turn out and
to facilitate parking the PGR vehicles together. There are
an Exxon and a Shell station exactly two miles NW of the
Part 1 Staging Point (entrance to Mid-Way Airport). Food is
also available there. There is another Shell station
approximately two-tenths of a mile SE of Wayne Boze Funeral
Home. For Part 2, there are several gas stations and
restaurants approximately 1.3 miles east of the Civic Center
at and near the intersection of US Highways 287 & 77 on the
north side of Waxahachie. Also, air conditioning and
restrooms are available at the Civic Center. And please
don’t forget to pack your rain gear, just in case.
