Obituary:

Kenneth L. Ellis, 84 , of Wichita Falls, died Friday, September 10, 2010 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Veith Family Cemetery in Henrietta with the Rev. Dr. Robert KinCannon, chaplain of VFW David Gibbs Post 8878, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mr. Ellis served in the Navy and was employed by the Coca-Cola Company.

Survivors include his step-son Alvin Vieth and wife Glinda of Henrietta, step-daughter Susan Merritt of Wichita Falls, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Details Of Part 1:

We will be standing a Flag Line at the Vieth Family Cemetery East of Henrietta, Tx. at 8 AM. This cemetery is not located on most maps or internet listings. To get to the cemetery take New York Road, which is just east of Henrietta, Tx south for two miles. This is a gravel road. The entrance to the cemetery will be marked by two American Flags. Those coming from the Wichita Falls area will stage at the Shell Station at the intersection of 287 and Windthorst Rd at 7:00 AM with a ride briefing at 7:15 and kick stands up at 7:30. Riders coming from other areas will meet the Wichita Falls area contingent at the cemetery.

Water Truck For Part 1:

- The Flag/Water Truck WILL Be There.

Comments:

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.


- Safety First: With warmer weather, please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.


- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family.
